Rolf Harris was admired by countless people. A great entertainer and seemed a truly caring man.
This week he was found guilty on 12 counts of indecent assault against four girls and young women. It seems unreal.
Sexual sin ruins lives
It’s tempting to compare and think we’re somehow perfect – ‘I’m not like Rolf Harris, my lust doesn’t hurt anyone.’
However, lust will always hurt someone – you, your relationship with your spouse, family, friends… God. Jesus said ‘no one is good but God alone.’ (Mark 10v18).
Pornography changes the way people think and ruins relationships. It leads to an ever growing appetite for more graphic types of pornography and more extreme sexual activity.
More people than ever, including Christians, are struggling with compulsive and addictive sexual behavior. Do you need help?
Repent and ask God for help – He loves you and wants to help!
Get accountable with someone you trust – transparent relationships are powerful!
Use internet accountability software – let others see what you are doing & challenge you.
Sign up for a X3 course and group – get support from those who know what you’re going through.
Do whatever it takes to get free – it is worth it and it is possible.
Jesus walked in freedom, so can you!
